Co-directed by Amie Dowling and Kristin Horrigan
This project brought together the residents of two communities – artists who have built a shared living project (Gut Stolzenhägen, home to the Ponderosa Dance Festival) and villagers who live in the small, rural town of Stolzenhagen, where the Gut is located. Performers of all ages from the village and the Gut explored the meaning of home, the history of the town, and the stories of their various communities. The performance drew many residents from the village to the Gut for the first time, and performers and audience together celebrated afterwards with a big cookout and cake party.
